Arbi is built around data minimisation. We use the information needed to provide group matching, keep the service reliable, and respond when you ask for help. We do not sell personal information.
Information we handle
Depending on the features you use, Arbi may handle account details, approximate or precise location you choose to provide, venue preferences, saved places, Party membership and invitation information, reviews and photos you submit, device information, and messages you send to support.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate your account, show relevant nearby places, record your preferences, calculate Party matches, display content you choose to share, secure the service, diagnose reliability issues, and answer support requests.
Parties and preference matching
You can join a Party with an invitation code without giving Arbi access to your contact book. Individual preferences are recorded independently so the service can calculate shared results. Party members may see group results and the social information you choose to share, but Arbi is designed not to expose every private swipe as it happens.
Location and venue information
Location helps Arbi show useful nearby venues and apply distance filters. You control location permission through your device settings. Venue names, addresses, ratings, photos, and related place information may be supplied through Google Places.
Service providers
Arbi uses service providers to operate the app. The backend is hosted through Railway, and venue discovery uses Google Places. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and keep the platform secure. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can change device permissions at any time. To request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, email support@arbiapps.com. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request relates to the correct account.
